T. xerographicaAir plants, or Tillandsias, are a great low maintenance option for indoor or shady areas. No soil needed, just mist with water a few times a week and enjoy.

There are many easy ways to use and display tillandsias. Floral wire (non-copper based) or a specialty tillandsia glue can be used to mount them onto driftwood or decorative rock, or you can simply place them in a terrarium or small pot. Just make sure they aren’t sitting in water or on moist soil, as this can cause them to rot. All tillandsias do flower, which can add an interesting element to your display. After flowering most varieties will die off, but not before producing one to several new pups! You can leave this new cluster in its original spot, or separate them to create new displays.

We are currently carrying over twenty varieties of different sizes, colors, and textures. The amazing extra large variety pictured here is Tillandsia xerographica.
