It’s been almost a year since COVID interrupted our lives. The impact on many has been difficult and even devastating. To those who lost loved ones, our hearts go out to you. It has been a year of learning many new things, for some how to survive and thrive without our social connections and for others, patience with kids stuck at home – and online learning.

In the early weeks of the pandemic, we here at Weidner’s noticed a renewal of interest in gardening that went beyond our regular customers. As an essential business in agriculture, we had the privilege of staying open and available for our clients who wanted to start new landscape projects, finally make time to start that edible garden with the family or just needed to get out and find some type of outdoor activity to stimulate joy.

We met many new people and learned the many stories about how they came to visit us. What we experienced was so much gratitude that we were still open, that we could provide a safe outdoor environment for people to get out and do something that made them smile. And it made us smile too.

We want to take this opportunity to thank our faithful customers and to welcome our newest customers. Seeing happy customers brought us so much joy during these challenging times. We are excited to celebrate the beginning of spring and can’t wait to surprise you with some amazing sale weekends just like last year.

Starting March 1st our new retail garden hours will be 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
