Of course a good Jack-O-Lantern can spice up a front porch or patio, but there are many other decorating ideas you can do with pumpkins for the whole fall season.
Succulent pumpkins
A succulent pumpkin makes a wonderful, very long lasting decorating piece, and it’s super easy to make. Simply glue some moss to the top of the pumpkin using a craft glue or hot glue gun. Once dry, take your succulent cuttings and push them into the moss. You might need to use the glue to keep the cuttings in place as well. Add some dried natural elements like seed pods, pine cones, or dried flowers to finish it off. And the best part, since the pumpkin hasn’t been cut it can last for six months or more!
Pumpkin planters
If you don’t mind pumpkin carving, making planters out of your pumpkins is fun and easy. Just find a pumpkin that will fit your plant of choice, and hollow it out. Just slip the plant with the plastic grow pot into the pumpkin and voila! An instant fall planter.

Mini pumpkins
Mini pumpkins are a great way to add a touch of fall if you don’t have enough space for larger sizes. Tuck a mini pumpkin into a fall themed planter, or arrange a few on a serving tray for an easy centerpiece.
